We are a registered charity and receive no Government support, all our funds
come from kind donations from the public and through membership funding.
All the staff in East Renfrewshire branch are volunteers and give their time
and energy generously.
But we need your help so we can continue to care for the many homeless and
unwanted cats and kittens that so desperately need new homes. Sadly, with
limited resources there is only so much we can do - that's why your donations
are so important.
With your money we can continue to help cats like .............
Benji, a gorgeous wee tabby boy, who at 7 weeks old was
rescued from a back
garden. We integrated him with people and other cats so he could be
rehomed
with a caring family.
Poor old Murphy, who was deliberately dumped out of a car
at the side of the
road. Fortunately the motorist behind saw it happen and brought him into
us.
Despite his ordeal, he kept his lovely friendly personality, and still enjoys playing
and getting
hugged.
There's Libo, a 14 year old tom cat who was found
wandering as a stray in a
terrible state with dreadful weight loss. We discovered this was because
his teeth
and mouth were in an awful condition so he had most of his teeth removed, and
after
recovering, has started putting on weight.
And then there's the homeless stray called Scabby!
He had a terrible flea
infestation that resulted in scabs all over his body and open sores on his
face.
Not surprisingly, it made him a bit grumpy. Just the first round of veterinary
treatment alone cost over £100, but at least he's on the road to recovery.
So just how can you become a member of East Renfrewshire Cats Protection?
